The BAD TIMES trend is the fake fight with whoever holds the phone: head in hands, a hand on the hip, "hold on" palms, then a march to the lens and a finger jabbed right at it. The Halloween edition does it in costume, in a room full of jack-o'-lanterns and fairy lights. Pick a vampire, witch, zombie or skeleton, or keep the costume from your photo.

Where the trend came from
French creator Bouuh Yachaka posted "Ça va barder!!" on 9 September 2026: in her kitchen she picks an over-the-top fight with whoever is filming while lip-syncing "BAD TIMES" by Imael Angel. It passed 20 million views, and since late September most new versions are AI edits where someone else, a pet or a baby takes her place. In October people started doing it in Halloween costumes.
The 15-second highlight
The original take runs about 30 seconds in most edits. This scene makes the best-known first 15 seconds as one handheld take: the slow rise, the hand on the hip, the "hold on" palms and the charge at the lens. Your photo is the face; the moves are written into the prompt, not copied from the original video.

EXAMPLE AND ORIGINAL
An AI version, next to the original
Left: a Vampire version of this trend made by another AI video generator from one test photo. It was not made on this site; your video is written from this page's prompt with your photo, on Seedance 2.0 or MiniMax H3, so faces, framing and details will differ. Right: the original post by @bouuhyachaka, shown with credit and never sent to the model. Its audio can be laid over your clip if you keep the original-audio option on.
Vampire (cape with a red collar, pale makeup, tiny fangs), witch (pointed hat, dark robe, smoky eyes), zombie (torn shirt and grey-green face paint), skeleton (bone-print suit and skull face paint), or "As in photo" to keep the costume you are wearing. Nothing covers the mouth, so the argument still reads.
02Is the BAD TIMES song included?+
If you want it. The trend sound is on by default and laid over the finished clip, with the charge at the lens where the drums drop out. Your mouth moves to the beat, but it is not a word-for-word lip-sync of the lyrics. Switch it off to get an original deep-house beat made with the video. The song belongs to its owners and we give you no rights to it, so check your platform's music rules before using the clip in an ad.
03How much does it cost?+
100 credits with Seedance 2.0 (HD 720P) or 70 credits with MiniMax H3 (HD 768P) for 15 seconds, for every costume, with or without the trend sound. Failed generations return the reserved credits.
04Can I use my own costume?+
Yes. Pick "As in photo" and upload a photo of you in it. A mask over the face is pushed up onto your head so the face and mouth show.
05Is it scary?+
No. It stays a comedy bit: clean costume makeup, no blood, wounds or weapons.
