Check both identities from beginning to end
Watch each face in the cold opening, during fast motion, at the embrace, and after the memory cut. Look for face swaps, sudden age changes, altered hair, or clothing that jumps between frames. A strong opening still needs a complete 15-second review.
Inspect hands, contact, and background continuity
Pause around the lowered object, open arms, running action, and embrace. Check fingers, limbs, props, and extra people. Then review doors, furniture, horizon lines, and lighting for distracting changes that could make the synthetic edit confusing.
Confirm the cold-to-gold transition
The emotional structure depends on a clean hard cut rather than a face morph or slow dissolve. Both people should appear healthy and recognizable in the warm memory. If the transition combines the two settings or identities, consider another generation with simpler optional notes.
Listen once without watching
Close the picture or turn away and check volume, unwanted speech, clipping, abrupt silence, and recognizable music. Then watch again to confirm footsteps, impacts, ambience changes, and laughter align with the visible action.
