How to Make the Witch Costume Walk

Use one bare-headed portrait so the low camera can stalk in on the boots and rise to your face under a hat brim that sits back.

BY ZOMBIE COUPLE CUSTOM · OCTOBER 14, 2026

Leave the hat and sunglasses off the photo

Witch Costume Walk replaces your clothes with a pointed hat, velvet robe, floor-length cape, and laced boots, while keeping your face, hair, facial hair, and glasses. A sharp front-facing photo without a hat or sunglasses lets the brim sit back and the face stay lit. One person per video; a group becomes a series of separate clips.

Boots for five seconds, then the reveal

The phone sits at ground level on a foggy cobblestone street with jack-o'-lanterns and lanterns. Only boots and the robe hem walk toward the lens. As the boots arrive, the camera tilts up in one move to the face. You smirk, lift a small lantern, and make a slow spell gesture while the cape moves in the wind. The face is the payoff, so the first half intentionally hides it.

Footsteps in the file, the song in the app

Boots on wet stone, cape flutter, wind, a shutter click at the reveal, and an original percussion pulse are generated with the picture. The costume-walk song is not included. If you add it in TikTok or Reels, line the tilt-up up with the beat you want.

Ten seconds at the Halloween rate

Seedance 2.0 costs 65 credits and MiniMax H3 costs 45. The example on the page is a Seedance render of this prompt. Watch the boot rhythm, the single tilt, and whether the revealed face still matches your photo. The scene stays free of blood, weapons, and jump scares.
